Post your "Go-To Guitar"
Nice Esquire! I see a few things there that I'd have no problem with owning myself. Nice to know that I'm in good company -

Wow, what nice collections! Great, that's all I need is more GAS.
Mike, my Bird is just your basic new Bird. BTW I've been studying the composition of your collection photograph (well, drooling over, really) and wanted to point out that while it's very nicely done it is slightly asymmetrical; you'll need three more LPs to maintain the Rick, LP, bass, acoustic rhythm you've established in the front row. Just three more, that's not much to ask, and it would look so much more balanced.

My current go-to guitar is my 1960 345F. It sounds great unplugged or amplified. My go-to bass (this week!) is my recently acquired 1964 RM 1999. If I have to choose a non-Rickenbacker guitar it's the '63 Fender Strat

Mike, I never thought I'd end up owning one. I had been wanting to find an early 4001V63 for about a year. I guess the RM 1999 will have to suffice!
I'll still pinching myself to see if it's a dream.

I may be headed that way too if I find a nicely priced 4001.
