Late again on this one Brett, but bring em all!!! LOL

Re the beer, there are lots of other flavours down here for you to pick from, even Millers and Budwieser, (not a bad drop IMHO) Image

I was just trying to stir up some Sydney/Melbourne rivalry but nobody bit. Oh well Image

Let's go neutral territory then. I don't mind a Coopers or two...

Us Mexicans are a placid lot, hard to stir up, but look out if you stir the tiger up. LOL

I'm so glad it's 1997 week! This thread prompted me to pull mine out of its case and play it a bit tonight--it's been a really long time since I've had it out, and now that I've played it again I wonder why.... It has such a beautiful rich and full-sounding tone--it's kind of hard to describe, but it's a sort of creamy smoothness that you can almost feel. And it's soooo beautiful to look at. Mine's a jetglo, and it looks so elegant and sleek in an understated way.... I don't know why I've never taken any pictures of this one, but I'll try to get some tomorrow!

Nice Blueburst, Melissa! Very sweet. Definitely one of my favorite finishes. A BBR 4003 is the last guitar on my "must have" list. I saw a sweet one on Ebay last year with highly figured wood that I didn't have the means to snag at the time. I still get a little Jonesy over it.

Thanks, Mark! I'm pretty happy about it.... My hubby said it should arrive on Tuesday--I can't wait! Image I've been wanting a 350 Blueburst for a long, long time!

After playing the 1997 last night, I decided to bring it to church today, and its lovely voice was just perfect for the set of songs that we did.... I just took these pictures this afternoon.

Yep.... It's a shame that that one stayed hidden away in its case while you visited, Aitch.... I guess there are just too many beautiful guitars around here, LOL!

You are too right!!!! You might need to do 4000s and 4001s in sections by years, you know Image Like 1957 to 1968, 1968 to mid 1973, mid-73 to 1986, then switch to 4003s and do them. Specials along the way might be the 21-fretters in the late 60s and early 70s, the transitionals with mixed features around mid-73, the CS, v63s, etc. Lots of material Image Plus fretless - shouldn't FL be included in each year range and not separately?

And then there are the 4005, the 4002, the 4004, etc Image Whew!
