Well that's OK with me, as long as those of us with 4001 basses actually made in 1968 get to post photos too....

First, an early 80's 4005 in White!! Ever seen another?

Here's mine - April '66 WB in Fireglo, currently en-route to Dale for restoration/repairs. The wood on the front has some drop-dead gorgeous figure in it, which is tough to photograph unfortunatley. The few who stayed behind at MARF on Sunday afternoon may remember this instrument. Image
