Where is that brown truck???
May you always work like you don't need money;
May you always love like you've never been hurt;
and may you always dance like there's nobody watching.

Okay guys, just opened it, tuned it, played it, photographed it!

Let's see those german carves! It's 381 week!

This one is from December of '87, which I guess would make it among the first reissues? Original case, original warranty card, new scatterwound toasters. Gorgeous birdseye!

Dave, did you happen to get one too?

Darren, good call on the checkered binding...and more! Image

Oh, and if you happen to own a dumpster bass, I suppose that will qualify too. Image

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!

Wow, didn't know you had those Elys!

The John Kay is one of my favorite Ricks - mostly for the awesome electronics. I couldn't put down Gary Clauson's in Santa Ana last year.

That's a beauty John - congrats!
No wood grain visible on these 381's - my Sea Green and Mick Kern's Jetglo (with his kind permission I hope!).
