I did notice that, John. Bizarre!

Say, haven't you had a couple of these? Got some pics to show?

Yeah, I was just going to ask about that bound non-F hole. What's up with that?

I wish that I did own of these....but I don't. I do own a '68 381 and it sports a very different body than a rgular 381. It is much thinner, front to back. Also, the carved top is a bit more rounded shape. I'm sure it was more of a hand built early example. Pics later today.

As for the bound slash? I have no clue. I have another pic of a '69 360 OS in Shaded Blue and its bound sound non-hole(?). Someone sent me the pics years ago. The guitars were custom ordered by a music store owner. His sons own the guitars now, I believe.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!

Beautiful, Clive! How are things over in the "sunny" UK? Hope you didn't have any problems with floods and such..........

Howard, it's brightened up a bit here in London.

I was stranded in a recording studio in Sheffield though when the river Don burst its banks and flooded the lower part of the city! Literally, what was the road outside 3 hours before became a river about a foot deep, and it was moving fast.

If it wasn't so weird, it would have been scary!

Mind you, I can think of worse places to get stuck in!

Jeeze.......looking at all these killer 381s, you all have got me thinking that I should have gone with my first choice instead of opting for the 360/12C64. It's all good tho'; can't go wrong with either.
Wherever you go, there you are
