RIC Website Down?

John....offsite active hot standby server, managed thin-route replication...you haven't hired the right person at RIC yet who knows how to do it right...
Whatever . . . it's just a website.
Cable cut up the street should be repaired sometime today; no point to go to backup.
The burst waterpipe will also be fixed shortly.
The good news is that the weekend's power failure was handled gracefully by the UPS backup system.
Happy Monday!

"The last thing we'll be running here is PHP and MySQL. We wrote our own board specifically to get the functionality and security we require."
That's true. I suppose I didn't really consider that most companies don't run their forums (or forums, at all) from their *corporate* website.
You win, JH, you win.

You'd think a company as big as RIC could fix a problem like this.
How long has it been now?

nope my problem is deeper than that ... I have to fix Windows registry ... or perhaps it is a McAffee problem ... I can access the site from other computers so it is not a problem ...
