Mitchell, of course the dealer did not cancel the order you placed. They know they'll sell that bass quickly to someone else. What issues do the Ricks that you own now have?

Mitch's complication was ordering with the lefty bass strung with right hand stringing. That pushed out his order to such a long time, though I really don't understand why stringing it for a righty would postpone it longer than normal order rotation.
Mitch, if you did get Brian's lefty bass, it would be easy for a local luthier to flip the nut around then rework the existing bridge by swaping the 4 saddle assemblies - thats the only difference in a lefty and righty bridge assy.
I too remember when you ordered and have been really pulling with you for it to show up. This is just sad....
