It appears to be dead in the water. Tony doesn't play Rickenbackers anymore.

Steve: The title is correct. the RickResource Forum CD project is still on.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

It is an unusual gift to be able to wait so patiently for so long. Blessed are those who have that gift. :)

I thought it was pretty much done. The only thing was the artwork. Heck, at this point, I'll have my 4 year old daughters draw a picture of a guitar.

What's the sticking point now?

Not to be too whiney, but I may very well have completed a whole new record by the time this comes out. I am mixing my new batch of songs now, so, by the time the Rick forum CD comes out, my song will be from two albums ago. My checkbook has been sitting on my desk, with pen, ready to write a check to someone, for my copy. Let's knock this one out, guys ! We are all rooting for you !! :) :D

Cool Steve.... What's the estimated completion time for your new CD? Let me know when it's done, because I want a signed copy! :D

Since the comparison has already been made and is apt: I have personally already written, recorded, mixed, and produced two CD's since I submitted my songs last year. My CD last year had 13 songs on it, and this year's CD has 12 songs.

Of course, I didn't prepare any cool artwork or mass production stuff.

But I HAVE joined a new band and we are gigging. I am disappionted that the band name "None More Black" has already been taken.

Brad, I have finished one 11-song CD, and I am almost done with a 13-song CD, since submitting my songs last year. Sounds like we both spend alot of time on our music. Not exactly good for relationships, though ...

Ain't that the truth, Steve! That's why I've had to put my recording project on hold since the first week of July  ....

But now that I am finally caught up on some other things that have needed doing, my better half has given me permission to start working on it again this week, just in time for my musician friend Billy D. to come back from Florida and add his keyboard and bass magic to my tunes! :D ....Keeping my fingers crossed!
