Do I hear a Rickenbacker?

Six Pence non the poorer should have been publicly flayed for that cover version. There should be a law against bands covering certain songs and releasing them as singles. Fine, do it as a B-side, an album filler, part of your live set, but releasing a song like that as your own single is just not on.
Some songs are just way way way to perfect for others to be even allowed to do their "take" on it.
Hangin's too good for em.
As for the heroin thing, I've never heard that before. There are some lines that could be taken that way but only if you want them to be in my opinion.
the Boo Radleys version was much more up-tempo

They're a new LA band that's getting a lot of airplay right now on Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius radio. I like the song; very Beatle-ish.jimk wrote:Who is The Red Button? Like the song. In fact I liked both songs quite a bit.
