Do all of our tuners have to have the flat side to the camera when posing for a photo, Peter?

The 4003s5 is pretty much the same as a 4003s. The neck is about 1/8" or 1/16" bigger. The bridge pickup is overwond to 15k ohms as opposed to the normal 11k ohms. The neck pickup is a toaster. The headwings are different shaped. The tailpiece is a modified 4003 tailpiece. The bridge is a different part that has 5 saddles. And the tuners used are Schaller m4.

Basically it is the original 4-2-5 Rickenbacker bass. 8)

The 4003 has 2 11k ohm pickups, 1 less hole in the headstock, vintage tuners, 4 saddles on the bridge, and the normal headstock wings ... 8)
