Sad news indeed, and I too hold wishes for a speedy recovery. Meeting Bjorn and the conversations we had were indeed among the highlights of the RIC 75th.

Great photos of Bjorn, Johns.

I echo all the best wishes and hopes for a full recovery. I also was very glad and honored to meet him at the 75th celebration.

Best of luck with your recovery, Bjorn. Your dedication and enthusiasm has been inspiring to all of us. Thnaks for all of your input over the years. Wish I had been able to get my butt over to the 75th Anniv bash in '06 to meet you in person!

I've never had the pleasure of meeting Bjorn in person but I spent many hours on his Web site drooling over his guitars and those of his friends. His site was one of the reasons I bought my first Ric and why I still have and enjoy one. He is special to the people who love these guitars and I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Same here. In fact, I could have written the above statement. I'm certain the Björn's Rickenbacker site had a lot to do with guiding me here, and the sound clips surely did provide the nudge I needed to put a deposit down on the Awaited One.

Björn, we may never meet in this life my friend, I wish you speedy recovery.
