Try this guy for sure. [email protected] He has made pickguards for me and has the correct 1/8" plexiglass material for Ricks. He does great work is honest and affordable. You may tell him I sent you. He has patterns in stock but an exact tracing of yours (outside and screwholes minus the front pickup and 2 knobs) is the only way of getting it exact due to tolerances over the years.

The original guard is gone, the guard that was on it was a homemade job. I got with Tony Dudzik at pickguardian, and downloaded a template of a period 4001 guard. the screw holes align perfectly, so what I am going to do is have him make me a blank 4001 guard in black, with only the screw holes drilled. Then I'll calculate the location of the volume and tone holes and drill them myself..Thanks for all the info so far! I'll post pics as things progress
