How's that Zinky treating you? I was able to drive up to Flagstaff and pick up a custom Zinky 25W combo a few weeks ago (blue with cream grille). Got a tour and hung out with Bruce Zinky for a couple hours. Really nice guy. Do you know if yours has the effects loop upgrade? It make an awesome difference in the sound and clean headroom. It's $100 to have Bruce upgrade it. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, I got a Blue Velvet 25W Combo, and I absolutely love it. I don't believe it has had the effects loop mod, but I don't use effects very often. Mine had some kind of tone mod to make it a bit more bright and chimey sounding. The previous owner wanted to make it sound more like a Deluxe Reverb. I love it.

Cool! I don't use any effects. The upgrade gives it a clean head boost with or without effects. You can also put a 12AT7 in the V1 slot for even more clean.
