No one got this one it seems. It is Elkie Brooks.

Here she is with Robert Palmer.

In 1972, Stevie Wonder was on a US tour supporting a headline act. Who was the band he toured with? Here's a clue: It was a very unlikely pairing

One more.

Who was the first "white" band to be signed by Motown Records? Here's a clue: There are two parts to their name.

Brian: The Valadiers was Motown's first white group and signed in 1961, I think.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Ok just caught this before i shut this comp down.I think its The Mynah Birds with Neil Young and Rick James!
The Mynah Birds is remembered in the song "Big Time" on the album Broken Arrow.Im sure they were the first white act to be signed on Motown.Altho no tracks were from the band were released due to rick james being arrested! i thinks! Maybe

Jerry has answered the Stevie Wonder question correctly. It was indeed The Rolling Stones. What a strange combination they would have made.

The Motown question is still unsolved.

Who are "Tom and Jerry"? They are two very famous musician/songwriters.
