P.S. I have, er, "hot toasters" on two of my guitars - '65 360 OS and '67 4005 - in the bridge positions, with the .0047mfd cap. All the tone, but none of the volume drop...
Now that I think of it, the 4005 has the "Vintage Tone" switch.

I have a 325C58 and I love those pickups---they do seem very different when compared to the pickups on my 1996 325V59. I really like both types.
