1OUfan.......I saved the online 2006 Ric MSRP pages to PDF, the last list that included Ric acoustics. There was no 700L 12-string listed. Here is what was included in that retail price list, effective 01-01-06.

$2789 700S
$2899 700S/12
$2679 700C
$2789 700C/12
$2529 730S
$2639 730S/12
$2419 730L
$2529 730L/12
$5389 760J

Hope this helps you. I trust I haven't violated any forum rules by sharing this info. If i have, please remove this reply. Thanks. Peace, out.......Goofyfoot

That list is obsolete; deader than a parrot, David...it doesn't even bear any relationship to used Ebay and dealer prices...

Understood, Paul. 1OUfan referred to a Ric retail price guide. I obliged. Nothing more, nothing less. For sure, the price guide doesn't serve as any sort of benchmark anymore. (Sigh)

Say, you've developed a nasty growth in your ojo, brah! What up with that? Other than that, trust all is peachy keen up in the Bay Area. Peace, out.......Goofyfoot.

That's not me, Dave. It's my creation--"Mad-Eye McGrumpy", otherwise known as "that other one"...

Thanks to everyone for their input and insight into my question. It really doesn't sound like there is a definitive answer :)

I'd say the definitive answer is that all acoustic RICs are currently being custom made. Thus, you need to decide your body style, # of strings and options and Paul will quote you the definitive price on a new one.

Used, the going price for most is in the $4000 - $6000 range right now, again depending on the model, # of strings, condition and rarity (and they're all pretty rare).

Chris's Guitars in Australia had the only one I know of for sale recently.

Good luck in your hunt.

Best,

Manta

Oooops, yes Darren. My memory ain't what it used to be. I was just through Australia in Brisbane and Cairns. Wonderful to be in Australia again, even if just for a couple of days.

This is the one:
