Buy it before someone else does
When you have zero feedback and don't take paypal, you have to expect to get less for your item. IMO, $1500 is alot to start. i would encourage anyone starting out on ebay to make some smaller purchases or sales first, get the feedback going,set up paypal and then go for large items.

The fact that he relisted it makes me think the original high bidder was fake(I did notice it was the same bidder on the 4001cs)because he still could have offered that thing to guy as a second chance offer.2K would be a record on ebay for that bass. What's wrong with that?

It doesn't even make sense. How would that get people to bid higher?I'm still not paying 2K to some guy who not only has no record of selling anything, how do I know he knows how to pack it?There aren't many who would buy a vintage instrument that wouldn't be concerned with that.
One of the reasons I was so willing to buy mine was the guys experience with selling and shipping items(even though none were guitars).
