It's the next 17 plus years that you have to worry about!

I agree with Jerry, could very well be a marketing ploy.

I still think girls have cooties. Women on the other hand ...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Kenny walks in the room and also does the "single and happy" dance.

Current GF? Great.
Current guitars? Also great.
Never having had to pay alimony, child support, lawyer's fees etc.? Priceless.

Schaper toys...another victim of the Mattel/Hasbro "let's buy everything in sight" wacquisition war of the '80s, fueled by licensing (instead of creativity...). RIP to a great toy company.

Schaper toys was headquartered in beautiful Robbinsdale Minnesota just a couple of miles from my home.Another Robbindale victim of the "acquisition wars" was Fawcett Publications, founded by Captain Billy Fawcett .Fawcett, later famous as the publisher of McCalls and Redbook, owed it's first success to the popularity of Capt. Billy's Whizbang magazine. We still look forward to the celebration of Whizbang Days in Robbinsdale every July.

Yeah, I lived in Mpls. briefly in the '70s, and my toy idea agent lived in St. Paul, on Summit. Remember Stompers? Schaper's Golden Age. The guy who "invented" them, Eddie Goldfarb, could have retired on the royalties, but he's still inventing well into his 80s.

Cooties! I remember the first time I played the game - it was the day of my "first marriage". I was probably 4, and Peggy and I walked down the "aisle" together (their driveway).

Revenge of the Ex!..... Don't go there!
My first wife wouldn't give me the time of day when it came to guitars! Or anything else for that matter! Needless to say the marriage only lasted 3 years! BUT...She bought her new bf a Maton Elec/Acoustic,probably with my alimony!!!!
Skip forward 10 years, i'm playing guitars again, nothing special, as i could only afford a cheap samick! Met my now-wife and she buys me a Tobacco sunburst Epiphone Sheraton 2. She is totally encouraging, loves the friendships from this forum, has pushed me to buy my 4 Rickenbackers and is the most awesome lady on my planet!
Moral to this story...... watch ebay soon for a Maton Elec/Acoustic...... yep, the ex, she's just divorced him to!!!!
