Yeah, this reminds me of when I got my first and second Ricks (91 360/12 FG and 67 900 MG in the mid 1990's). I couldn't stop playing them, and even took them to gigs where let's face it, a Rick was not really the best guitar to bring (jazz), but I didn't care, I loved 'em and brought 'em anyways! The bug didn't just bite you Jake, it laid eggs in your brain. May you never recover!

My mom is taking me to New Orleans tomorrow so I can put my Stratocaster on consignment to raise money for a new tube amp!

I'm telling ya. You will get ripped off trying to sell it on consignment somewhere (plus the wait will be unbearable). You will be 1,000x more successful taking some halfway decent pics and listing it on Ebay, and shipping. It's really not that hard, and doesn't cost as much (as the difference between consignment or not will!).
