Greasy, tough chicken.

Today was in the 70s and I spent the afternoon on the links; shot a 87 despite the wind.

This morning it was 100 degrees!
Well, 100 degrees colder outside than in the house. 65F inside, -35F outside.

We did just that. Was a cool gig, across the Red River from Shreveport it turns out, in Boobier* City.wmthor wrote:Ronn, if I were going from Austin to Shreveport, I wouldn't be anywhere near Houston. Instead I'd take I-35N to Waco, catch Texas Highway 31 over to Kilgore, and then I-20 on into Shreveport.

I must say, I don't miss the winter WITH the exception of Christmastime. As soon as December 26th rolls around, you can keep it!
I do have some fond memories of snow and the acoustic properties is gives to a set of glass packed dual exhaust resonators on my 66 Oldsmobile Toronado....I sure do miss that dum dum dum sound of the exhaust on fresh snow though!
Ah, the little things.
Re: Crazy Weather in Houston
When I went to bed at 2 AM it was 48 degrees out. When I got up at 9:15 am it was 19 degrees out. North wind all night.
Oh, did I say, it's snowing again??
Re: Crazy Weather in Houston
