Rickenbacker Video
I found this while wandering about the web...
http://www.veoh.com/videos/v7396971ASkAZ9yp
Has anyone else seen it. Judging by John Hall's hairline, this must have been shot about 15 years back. Nice to see the inside of the Factory!

Re: Rickenbacker Video
Great video ! Did anyone notice that McGuinn was playing through a Roland JC 120 amp ? I'm thinking of getting one of these.
Re: Rickenbacker Video
Yep, that's the nvts. Love it.
Re: Rickenbacker Video
Cool vid, brah. Thanks for sharing. Wow, I could actually understand some of what the Japanese-speaking narrator was saying. Peace, out.....Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

More importantly, did anyone else notice the 340 Lightshow in that segment?epitreture wrote:Great video ! Did anyone notice that McGuinn was playing through a Roland JC 120 amp ? I'm thinking of getting one of these.

Isn't that a 12 string, AND a slant fret as well? Or am I confusing and mixing 3 of his guitars together?jps wrote:More importantly, did anyone else notice the 340 Lightshow in that segment?epitreture wrote:Great video ! Re: Rickenbacker Video
Yeah, I forgot to say 340/12LS!
I didn't notice if it was a slant fret.
I didn't notice if it was a slant fret.
Re: Rickenbacker Video
Rogers 370/12 would be perfect if it was JG and double bound..
...............Great video though. Thanks for posting it.

Re: Rickenbacker Video
McGuinn had the only 341LS/SF ever made. Can't tell if that guitar is the one in the video, but it could be...tennis_nick wrote:Isn't that a 12 string, AND a slant fret as well? Re: Rickenbacker Video
An interesting video for sure....once you get past the excessive footage of the 14 freeway, PCH 1 and RIC's front door. No soliciting by the way.
Re: Rickenbacker Video
I had posted this a few months back. Very cool video. You rarely see any video or pictures from the inside of the factory

That's true Adam.. I thought it was really neat to see.
Did you see the more recent video for the Laguna Tools computerized lathes that Rickenbacker uses? Some nice footage from inside the factory there too...
