I go with D'Addario because they sound good, are inexpensive and can be found almost anywhere.

Not able to answer the poll, as my prefs vary from Ric to Ric.
370-12RM has a mutt set made from Ti JS 110 s and Ric strings as octaves.( Next change, will use POTR's custom set)
660-12 has Rics on it.
360 Mid has original factorys
4003 FG has original factorys
4003 MB has unknown flats
4003 DG unknown rounds
4003 BB unknown rounds

I use GHS Boomers (GBL Light set 10-46) on my 6 stringers and D'Addario on the 12 stringer. I used to like the D'Addario on my 6 stringers but for some reason they seemed to get gunky too fast with my skin oils, even when cleaning after playing. I seem to break them easier too. GHS Boomers do the trick for me. :D
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).

The 350V63 gets GHS Nickel Rockers, 10-46. The 360/12 gets the standard RIC set and the 620 takes D'Addario, 10-46. These cover all of my jangle, chime & twang needs.

+1
If I had a 6 stringer, my choice would still be the same.

Tx for the 411.
They both play well and smooth. :D
I see no reason to change.
In a way, it's too bad they'll never see a club date.

I'm in Howard's park here. Rics when I can get them, Rotosounds when I can get them, and Dean Markley Signatures. I have some Curt Mangans I picked up from Chris at MARF but haven't tried them out yet.

I just restrung my 360-12 with rickenbacker strings which I have used since new.... I see D'addario makes a set for the 12 string although the gauges dont match that of the ric strings (octave strings) the up side is the D'addarios i see are cheaper (price wise) Any comments pro or con on these strings? How about the slight difference in gauges does it make any obvious difference in the overall ric sound?

I Found north coast music offers a ric 12 bridge that has 12 individual saddles for complete intonation setup ...Does anyone have any experience with this bridge? Is it a direct fit and is it worth the money ($125 +ship) ???

Pyramid Gold Flats on both the 6's and the 12. I'm surprised PF doesn't have more votes!

I finally put the TI flatwounds on my 360/12 V64.......fantastic tone.....tight bass....bright and snappy treble....more articulate and not as "muddy" as the RIC strings, although The RIC strings will be my 2nd choice.
