It wouldn't be sticky if Rick just offered a model with all the goodies on it from the get-go.

As much as I'd like to see a V63 back, it's time for a Deluxe 4001 reissue!

I have more pictures to resize and post ... hopefully I can get them done tonight before 24's new episode.

One cool thing ... last evening after the show, a bunch of us got to hang out with Marty Wilson Piper and Tiare. Very cool!

I don't think anybody wants one that is needlessly expensive, so I guess we can stick with that!

One think I've always liked about Rickenbacker is the price. It is a direct correlation to their cost at the factory plus a decent markup, unlike other companies who will build a stock guitar, slap a celebs name on it and charge 5K for a $200 instrument.

Man, the current 4003 is great.
Though I would like to see a continuation of the 4001S variants.

Dang, I missed all the celebs at NAMM this year. Would have loved to meet Brian Wilson and MWP.
Maybe I can Photoshop my head on Paul W's body in that one shop!

That 4003 FG with the very nice flame caught my eye also. Nice change in maple procurement.

Here's a shot of Juliana and Dhani Harrison. He looks just like his dad!

(Thank God the same is not true of her...)

WOW! What a great photo. Thanks for posting that Paul. Congrats Juliana. That will be a photo and a meeting to remember in years to come

Great pic Paul! I notice that Dhani is wearing a RIC ID badge. Was he at the RIC booth in any official capacity?

Not that I'm aware of. JH arranged admission for Dhani and a small group of friends. He spent about 15 minutes talking to people and posing for photos with fans. He's a genuinely friendly person with lots of heart.

Her eyes got huge when she saw him (she'd missed Brian Wilson, another of her idols, the day before). She approached him shyly. He stepped over to her, put out his hand, and said,"Hi! I'm Dhani! What's your name?" She was floored.
