Opinion: Greatest Rock Movie?

Chloe Webb playing Nancy in "Sid and Nancy" should have won an academy award for being the single most obnoxious female role ever put on film. Here's a challenge, find a more obnoxious and grating female character on film. I read the real Nancy was easily 10 times worse.

"I look like Stevie f***ing Nicks!"


Close second: "But what about the farewell drugs?"

It may not be the greatest, but one that should not be forgotten is Roadie, a Meat Loaf vehicle from the early 80s (I think) that featured appearances and cameos by a whole bunch of real-world musicians.

Canadas "Hard Core Logo" was insane and funny as well, with an unpredictable, extreme ending.

Friends told me I should have been in this movie. The tours I have done were a cross between Spinal Tap and Hard Core Logo.

Bruce McDonalds earlier effort Roadkill is also a really good rock & roll movie.

Not the greatest rock movie , in fact wasn't a rock movie, but hey only movie my mates The Searchers ever appeared in so counts in my book.
