I did not realise the delete function was gone Wes since my tools are different. Is it not there at all or just for a few minutes after you post? Let me know and I'll send a note to Gil.

I brought this up shortly after I noticed it months ago and there was confusion. The delete button just disappeared one day - not for the section in which I moderate, but for my posts across the board in other sections.

When you try to edit a post is there a delete option for you in the post creation/edit mode Wes?

No. There used to be a delete option for a little while after I made a post, now it's not there at all.

Thanks for your comments everybody. You will notice the return of the delete post option.
