Worst Commercial Songs

Post by rickosound »

Here's one playing currently in Kansas City (much to our dispair).
For those of you who want to strum along, the chords are C, Bdim, C, Am, F, G, C. :P
As the Youtube comments say, some things just shouldn't be sung about.

OMG....That's hilarious!

....And it's even funnier to think that somebody got paid to write that awful jingle and perform it..... You're right, there are some things that just should not be sung about.

Lol.
I think there's no such thing as "worst commercial song". They're all worst. Albeit... well, i still remember that first (or one of the first) TV ads in USSR. That was funny. Incredibly stupid, but funny. (It's about a fan/ventilator factory.)

Not to counterpoint this thread's intent but it did get you to write about it. Isn't that the purpose of jingles.......to get you to remember for better or for worse? (He-he). But yeah, I agree with you. Musically, it's a wasteland out there in Commercialville. Peace, out.......Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

Wait...that's a spoof, right? Please say it is! Please!

If not, the only word is (in hip hop parlance)...

EXECRABLE.

I gotta tell you, I dig the Free Credit Report.com one where he and his crew are wanting to be rolling phat but they are sticking to the vinyl in the used sub-compact. :)

And yes, the McD R&B spot is ATROCIOUS. Guess it shows every generic R&B shot and style. Oh, that is SO BAD.
