Some years ago, there was an orange/copper refinished bass on eBay, metallic/metalflake, IIRC ... there might be a very old thread about it, as I do remember it being discussed.Spanky(Andy) wrote:... an orange coloured Ric bass? Original or refinish ...
I remember that bass, Gary and was going to mention it...before I read down to your post! But you did one better by finding a photo of it. Nice work! I remembered it as a V63, but its a 4003S with a toaster. It was for sale pretty close to Halloween too, as I remember!doctorwho wrote:I did a quick search, looking at the oldest hits first, and found the one (from 2002!) that I was referring to:

That thread also includes a picture of the bass in question.
I also understand there is no backlog on these CGI basses and that they can be created almost instantly in any color desired! Way to go!rickaddict wrote:Cool bass, Dane. Wavy Grovers, 1/2" spaced hi-gain, ROS, Black Trim, dot neck...You got vision!
Yeah, but they have a really lousy, sort of synthetic sound...libratune wrote:I also understand there is no backlog on these CGI basses and that they can be created almost instantly in any color desired!
