Nice playing, and GREAT bass. I am always a fool for AzureGlo...(have owned a 4003S and '75 AG)

AZG has always been my favorite Ric color. Personally I prefer the original blue over the faded cobalt hue. The "new formula" Midnight Blue (post '05) comes close.

I remember Azureglos when they were new back in the 70's and they seemed to be lighter than they are now, seems like they got darker with age like most Ricks did. They used to be a really light vivid blue. Mine was much darker than the originals, it was almost like Midnight blue.

My old '76 (which I no longer own) is quite greenish but where the clearcoat has worn off you could see how blue it actually was; the clearcoat has yellowed quite a bit. When I bought it in '89 (?) it was somewhat bluer than now.

The first one I had was more greenish...this one is truly BLUE!!! The jury's out on whether I will keep it or not but for now, you can see and hear what I can do with it...

10s are where it's at, for sure.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?
