Cool pictures!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Mike Rutherford's other doublenecks were a Microfrets(Lamb Tour) and a Burns (Trick of Tail/Wind and Wuthering era).

I saw the Musical Box a few years back here in Toronto recreating the Lamb tour and all the exact gear was being used. Wish I had seen the Selling England presentation too!

Genesis were my first concert but by 1982, the Rickenbacker had unfortunately given way to a Steinberger! Nonetheless, it was an unforgettable experience (I was 12) and they still played some of the old stuff.

I saw the Musical Box do the Selling England set a couple of years ago in England, and although I don't really like the idea of tribute bands, I thought they were amazing. The attention to detail, even in terms of the actual nuances of playing, was incredible.

I only saw Genesis once, on the Duke Tour in 1980 (to be honest I'm not overly keen on the stuff from then on). Rutherford was using his Shergold, which was great because that's what he played when I first discovered the band a couple of years earlier. I worked my way backwards from there....

Did anyone notice a year or two ago alot of Genesis gear was up for sale on ebay? Everything from old road cases to part of Mike's Shergold doubleneck.
