I had a chat with the math guy who told me he knew. Couldn't stay too long, it was hotter in that office for some reason than Fla at present...
666,666-1 apparently...
Re: 1968 ric on Ebay
Another great bass!
Still no ready cash.
As I mentioned when the credit crisis started,we will see some older guitars come onto the market and some older players might cash in their investments.
Most of the English shops used to describe the horse shoe magnets as a "split pick up cover" and right away you know what it is.
The actual "horse shoe" shape is only apparent in profile views of the whole magnets so "split pick up cover" its a very apt description in my opinion.

Oops! Did I mis-spell something?

Re: 1968 ric on Ebay
Yup, and it cost you the deal.
I need a horse, not a hose!
( Although it is over 100F on the heat index here today..)

Andy's '68 had the thinnest Rick neck I ever felt...
...but I liked the Gibb RM best.
Whaddaya say, Wints? Interested in a straight swap for a restored tuna boat?

Hmmmm...I'll have to think about that one John. I already have a nice hi-gain. I was just planning to carefully place the horsey on one of the rails of the Chicago & North Western and watch a little magic happen.johnallg wrote:Jeff, buy the bass and I'll trade you a higain for the horsey even up.![]()
