Yeah, and bird flu was a real threat.

I never realized it until I was in a hospital in Singapore last year, sick as a dog (turned out to be massive food poisoning), and they quickly hustled me off to the "bird flu wing" of the hospital---no joke. There was a dedicated quarantine area of the hospital for suspected bird flu patients, and they deal with that stuff everyday. People got this terrified look on their faces, and grabbed the face masks.

.....but overall, yeah. It's a load of sensationalist rubbish. Every doomsday journalist out there is looking for another reason we should hide under a rock...
