What does Rickenbacker call this black over white binding?

That is your basic laminated binding. Standard stuff from most lutherie supply catalogs. Rickenbacker originally used it as the outer ply on the 4002. It was occasionally used on production basses like the one above.

"Pinstripe" is what I've always heard it called, not that it comes up often...

That's the first time I've realized that the white was a pinstrip on black binding. I previously thought it was just reflection in the photo from a light source.
