I thought about pulling the trigger on this one sooooo many times. Jealous. Sigh.

Re: My newest acquisition: a '68 375OS!
I've done two gigs with it but am reluctant to do so again. It plays really well and looks beyond beautiful, I'm just afraid to damage it at all. I'm still dialing it in as it sounds completely different from my 365OS- it sounds like a strat! Anybody else find that with a three pickup Rick? My 365 has a little more body to the sound and is a real player's axe. I'll probably keep this 375 as pristine as possible and gig the 365.

My '98 1997 (planning on getting restored this September) had more beef to it than my 1997SPC, in some ways. If I dialed my amp in just right, I could make the two-pickup 1997 sound like a Gretsch.chucksimms wrote:Anybody else find that with a three pickup Rick? Not saying I hate my 1997SPC, but they both had very different sounds.
