That strap was unfortunately the only one I had that worked for the mandolin. I think it might need straplocks too. It's very small, and I could see it letting go when I go to play keyboards.

I never played mandolin before, but this Rickenbacker is very easy to play and the FG finish is outstanding. I might have to get a 4004Cii in FG now.

Thanks Tom. I was using their backline gear. It was a hartke 7000 and a hartke 1x15 cab. Sometimes its nice to only carry a bass to the gig! and the 4001 sounds good through any amp.
