Love that Fireglo 8 string! But yeah, the strap has to go. :lol:

Stanley, the strap must be from Australia (or it's up-side-down??) or something... cool looking 5002!!

That strap was unfortunately the only one I had that worked for the mandolin. I think it might need straplocks too. It's very small, and I could see it letting go when I go to play keyboards.

I never played mandolin before, but this Rickenbacker is very easy to play and the FG finish is outstanding. I might have to get a 4004Cii in FG now.

I suggested in the Ric forum that they start a 4004 Smokie signature series.... now that would be cool!

Thanks Tom. I was using their backline gear. It was a hartke 7000 and a hartke 1x15 cab. Sometimes its nice to only carry a bass to the gig! and the 4001 sounds good through any amp. :D
