Yes. I think I remember hearing this story before from the guy who originally bought it. Can't remember who it was though.Frankie79 wrote:Yes, I had heard from the original owner on the Rickenbacker forums when I picked up the V63 last year. He sold it after owning it only a couple of years....then the second owner had refinished it....then he bought it back again.....sold it again to the guy I bought it from.

Re: MEASURE YOUR GIRTH
Okay Frank, your two basses are in the database. I had to go back 5 pages to find the link so I will post it again here to refresh for all.

Re: MEASURE YOUR GIRTH
I forgot to the week: 35th week of 2009, which seems to be this week?? I know Roads received it last Monday (8/24). It has a really thin neck. I'll post photo's this weekend.
Re: MEASURE YOUR GIRTH
Thanks for the month too. I wish we had the month for all the basses.

Re: MEASURE YOUR GIRTH
Mark, added. Congrats on the new bass. Your 2004 has the same measurements as my Nov. '04. Not slim but very comfortable and it stays put with the season changes and stays in tune. Actually, that is it in my avatar picture.

Re: MEASURE YOUR GIRTH
Yes, to me it feels and sounds great. It's very close to the measurements on the 2007 AFG I had to sell when my hand problems were so bad. This 2004 was a great find, and I feel right at home again. I played it tonight with the band at practice and got complements on the sound. I'm just sitting here smiling. I really should be playing instead, though.johnallg wrote:Mark, added.
