Yes. I think I remember hearing this story before from the guy who originally bought it. Can't remember who it was though.

I just picked up an '09 4001C64S MG from Jim @ Rhoads Music.

Dimensions:
1rst fret: 11.3
3rd fret: 11.6
12th fret: 13.0

I forgot to the week: 35th week of 2009, which seems to be this week?? I know Roads received it last Monday (8/24). It has a really thin neck. I'll post photo's this weekend.

I just bought a 2004 4003 with these neck measurements:
1st 11.5
3rd 12.0
12th 13.6

Mark, added. Congrats on the new bass. Your 2004 has the same measurements as my Nov. '04. Not slim but very comfortable and it stays put with the season changes and stays in tune. Actually, that is it in my avatar picture.

Yes, to me it feels and sounds great. It's very close to the measurements on the 2007 AFG I had to sell when my hand problems were so bad. This 2004 was a great find, and I feel right at home again. I played it tonight with the band at practice and got complements on the sound. I'm just sitting here smiling. I really should be playing instead, though.
