it's got all the goodies!! (full width inlays,cb binding.......probably a lovely slim neck,too.....)

Hey Devan, I sold my '72 through the forum a couple of years ago for $2,000 (yep, regretting it now) so i think that the $3,000 estimate would probably be fair. Although, if you checked around you could probably find '72s listed or "sold" for higher through a number of music stores. Honestly, I've routinely seen stores asking for to $5,000 for the '72 year... But they don't tend to really be sold there.

If you ask me, the best thing about that year is the incredibly fast, slim neck.

Can you pass along a message from me to your dad? I grew up playing Traynors and loved them! Probably spend thousands on the bass equipment through the years from my local Long & McQuade... ALWAYS got a soft spot for that equipment! In fact, we used to rehearse using a Traynor powered, 4-channel vocal mixer up until about a year ago! Then the band fell apart... :(
