or...i could cut out the tone area of the pickguard in a square and raise it up above the surface of the pickguard...voila, lotso room ! :idea: :roll: :lol: :twisted: :shock: :oops: :cry:

Oooh! I have an even BETTER idea! You could just raise the whole guard up off the body with those rubber pickup washers till it clears! Ya, THAT'S the ticket :wink: :!:
