Agreed, Dane...the factory 4080/12's 'either/or' controls were a little crazy to deal with live. I used to run it through a Morley stereo volume pedal, so volume control wasn't the big issue, but quick transitions between the necks meant a lot of compromising of tone and pickup balance. Regarding MR's axe: as you pointed out, the wider body might not be an issue for someone who's 6'-4" and has hands like a giant tree-frog, but for the rest of us...aceonbass wrote:I much prefer the previous version, but both are just to wide to be practical for average sized people.
