Oh yeah! Blue & black, beauty! :D
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I bought the FL with the idea that I should have a fretted and a fretless couple. But they are completely different in color. ;-)

I stopped by Cream City Music yesterday, and they have a lot of secondary market Ricks, mostly guitars, right now. On the wall were two Midnight Blue guitars, a 620/12 and a 330/12. I think they said the 330 was 2007 and the 620 was 2008. They were vastly different; the 620 is more on the purple side of blue, while the 330 was more on the green side of blue. But this is not new as we've seen a LOT of variation in Midnight Blue over the years. And Azureglo varied, too. And Fireglo, and Sea Green, and Montezuma Brown, and Autumnglo . . . .

I have a 09 Larado and a 06 4003, and the 06 midblu is by far my favorite, the 09 and newer midblu just seems to dark to me, the 06 4003 is alittle lighter in shade and depending how the light is and hits it almost looks Turquise and I absolutely love that about it..

I think this was a '91 model 330. Not a great pic, but this is that beautiful dark cobalt blue!

Yes, subtle, but definitely vary. Here's a shot of Steve Wood's V63 and my 4003. The 4003 (left) is noticebly greener, and I don't think it is due to yellowing of the clear coat:

I didn't intend my '08 4003FL to be so much like Bert's and/or Joey's, but...

Then again, mine has binding:

Both mine have black binding. This is not very visible in the pictures I must say.
