MGMT

Post by NFB-418 »

I'm not really into these guys, but check out the bassist rocking the FG.

Ummm . . . quirky. Not bad, though the song is too long.

they Just did 2 songs on Jimmy Fallon's show complete with that pretty 4003FG, don't know if I'd listen to a whole lot of em.they're not bad, just not my cup of coffee. maybe I'll listen to a few more of their tunes and develop a decision.

It doesn't help that the singer doesn't really sing, just kind of does a falsetto. Lots of other bands like this in that genre.

Interesting. A new MGMT song.

Not quite as catchy as the stuff off "Oracular Spectacular" (their last collection). Check out "Time To Pretend" (also with the 4003 FG):

They're marvelous, in my opinion. Just put on a fantastic show in Minneapolis. Lots of Syd Barrett in their latest effort, but they're not an easy band to nail down. Good for them, I say.

Nice new song, but not much camera love for the bassist. Just the back of his headstock and a couple of long shots....

They pop up on pandora quite a bit-I like "electric feel" a lot,as well as the song from the posted video.
