I used to be able to do the 8-string two-fer but sold the 4008 - here's the comparison shot, '82 Fireglo 4008 & '93 Jetglo 4003S/8:

Doh! I forgot my own 4001/4003 rule! Well, other people have gone past that boundary, and the 4008 occupies a strange nether-space anyway...

I implied that we should stick with 4001's & 4003's, but it's not a hard and fast rule - heck we even have guitar headstocks in this thread! :twisted:
