Another one of Jeff's

Post by chagval »

Greetings, everyone. Another new member from Cleveland here. I was at the Guitar Center in Mayfield (Cleveland), coming out of the acoustic room and heard the sound of a ric bass (that's right, there's no other sound like it). I walked around a stack of amps and there was a beautiful mapleglo 4001 with checkerboard binding, toaster in the back...really fine. Oh, and Jeff Scott was there too. He was gracious enough to let me play it and I was reminded of what a great instrument it is. Jeff directed me to this great forum. Thanks, Jeff and I look forward to talking to you all!

Indeed, I have decided to keep it. Not only that, but I feel motivated to start playing again. Are you and the rest of the Kings still playing on Sunday? I'd like to come by. What time are you starting?

I've always been pretty proud of mine as well, but I see already that my knowledge is nothing compared to what these guys have! I'll have to get some photos up soon.

Larry, The KARMA Kings start at 1pm; we'll be in front of Dave's Market on the south side of (the sky; sorry, Yes reference, here! ) Cedar near Fairmount.
