I really wish RIC had developed the "new" MID sooner. My July '08 MID 4003FL is nice, but the newer hue is stunning.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

Oh, this dark blue is fine but Jetglo is not? :?
This Midnight Blue is very nice! I wonder who has the best Midnight Blue collection with most or all of the variations?
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I thought you'd never ask.

Let's start with the same model, a 360, for the first few photos to show the changes over the years. We'll get to some basses soon enough.

Now for some 4003 MIDs. Color change not as noticeable as with the 360s (this is not an easy color to photograph).

My apologies for the uneven quality of the photos and lighting. The photos were taken over a number of years. This color is a chameleon and the same guitar can look totally different depending on the lighting situation. I hope there is enough variety here to give an idea of the range of shades and possibly even the progression of Midnight Blue. IMO the photo of the body of the 2009 4001C64S best captures the current version of this color. (And BTW, that's not dust, it's blue fuzz from the vintage case.)

No matter what the shade, it's a great color! :D
