I think I heard they were only made in batches of 10 a week at present.

Richard said they're being made in between batches of other pickups, and if you ordered today it shouldn't be too long...I wait excitedly!

Uh oh....That can't be good. If RIC's not making a bass that uses the part, they might not make anymore

I just took it out of the boutique this afternoon because it's currently out of stock. There's a software issue that caused these (and other items) to show as in stock, when they're not or out of stock when they're aren't.

This only happens on very active parts where there's demand both from the shop floor and the boutique at about the same time; some negative numbers enter the system and get misinterpreted.

They'll be back up when the problem is fixed and they're back in stock.

Whatever happens I'm happy and looking forward all the more to getting the pup fitted and giving it some air play, which bass gets the pleasure is another matter.

Yes, thanks John!

And, it sounds like there will be more of 'em. AND, it sounds like there are a bunch being used on the shop floor...

Hmmm, I wonder what that could mean???

Dane, I tried this with my hi-gain on my 2010 4003 and noticed a significant drop in the volume...
is that just a factor of it or can something be done so it doesn't lose volume
