60 Custom from Hallmark Guitars
Anyone own a 60 Custom from Hallmark Guitars. It's their take of a Mosrite. I've read there's a special run of leftys being built.

Was just checking out their basses. One looks like a Vox/Mosrite combination
Re: 60 Custom from Hallmark Guitars
Diggin these, but at twice the price of the Eastwood copies. Am I missing something?
Re: 60 Custom from Hallmark Guitars
I'm not in the market for either, but these look a lot more accurate than the Eastwood copies. Look at the headstock shape, the zero fret, chrome nut, roller bridge, and accurate vibrato.whojamfan wrote:Diggin these, but at twice the price of the Eastwood copies. Am I missing something?

Eastwood product represents good value for money but I think Bob Shade of Hallmark pays much more attention to detail than the folk at Eastwood.
The Shade vibrato is an excellent take on the Moseley. I have bought hardware from Bob for some Mosrite projects and he has a great feel for design and QC. He's also very approachable and a straight shooter.
