60 Custom from Hallmark Guitars

Post by wmthor »

Anyone own a 60 Custom from Hallmark Guitars. It's their take of a Mosrite. I've read there's a special run of leftys being built.

Was just checking out their basses. One looks like a Vox/Mosrite combination

I'm not in the market for either, but these look a lot more accurate than the Eastwood copies. Look at the headstock shape, the zero fret, chrome nut, roller bridge, and accurate vibrato.
Great Ramp In My Opinion.

Eastwood product represents good value for money but I think Bob Shade of Hallmark pays much more attention to detail than the folk at Eastwood.

The Shade vibrato is an excellent take on the Moseley. I have bought hardware from Bob for some Mosrite projects and he has a great feel for design and QC. He's also very approachable and a straight shooter.
