Not sure about the balance, but I wouldn't use a B string that was under .130 gauge.
So I guess 5 string players are up a creek, then. I don't see any 9050s (of any flavor) that are bigger than .125.

FTR, I prefer things closer to .135 if I can get that as an option.

Scott. I think Dadarrio Chromes have a 130 B string. That might match up with the new Fender flats.
It's too early in the morning to talk about our relationship !

There are two 5-string sets, a "40" and a "45," and they both have a 125 B string.
