Nah, I am keeping my internal organs in place.
Perhaps I don't need to have everything I want.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

Wise man. Plus, your house is likely going to cost more than you estimate. You don't want to have to skimp on it.

It sometime looks like getting what you want is a neverending quest.gibsonlp wrote:Nah, I am keeping my internal organs in place.

What makes you want a sixties 4005 instead of the cheaper seventies?

I don't know... I played the '74 4005WB JB sold to Graham and it was one really sweet bass with a wonderful neck.

I do know. Since the frets of my '81 4005 have been leveled I love it. And since '81 is almost the last production year of the 4005 mine must be among the most best with the least flaws.johnallg wrote:I don't know... I remember when this bass hit Ebay. I literally had my finger on the "buy it now" button, and my wife walked into the room and distracted me.johnallg wrote:I don't know... I played the '74 4005WB JB sold to Graham and it was one really sweet bass with a wonderful neck.

Ah the one you made a few years back then. Played that one when the paint was barely dry - you had it at one of the SoCal confluences.jingle_jangle wrote:It's a one-off...OK'd by JH.
